About Up Giving Village
This is where intention becomes real. Where care is built into every space. And where people are not adjusted to fit, but considered from the start.
Our Story
There are moments when you begin to see that something is missing. Because nothing exists, but because what exists does not fully meet people where they are. Families adjust.
Caregivers stretch themselves thin, and individuals move through spaces that were never designed with them in mind. Over time, that becomes clear. Not just access, but intention. Not just availability, but something that feels real. Up Giving Village was created from that understanding. Not from one moment, but from seeing the same gaps again and again.
So something different could exist. Something built with care. Something shaped by real experiences. And something people do not have to question when they return.
We are building an inclusive community that empowers veterans, seniors, caregivers, and youth of all abilities to thrive. This is what happens when support is intentional, consistent, and real.
What we are building
Our Approach
What we build is not based on one model.
It is shaped by people. Each person comes with their own needs, their own pace, and their own experiences. Because of that, nothing we do is one-size-fits-all. We create thoughtful environments. Structured, but not rigid. Engaging, without being overwhelming.
Everything is designed with intention. How people are welcomed. How they participate. How they return. Because what matters is not just what is offered, but how it feels to be part of it.
This is something people can rely on that takes shape.
Founder, Up Giving Village
Up Giving Village was not created from theory.
It was shaped through lived experience. Through navigating life as a parent raising five children, including a teen with autism. Through becoming the caregiver for my father during a season of divorce, I managed appointments, surgeries, and the realities that come with that responsibility; seeing firsthand what it means when support exists but does not always feel usable, consistent, or real.
That perspective changed everything. It became clear that what people needed was not more options, but something more thoughtful. More intentional. More grounded in how people actually live. Up Giving Village was built from that place.
Not as something temporary, but as something people can return to. Something that holds.

The People Behind the Village
More Than Names & Titles
Behind every role in the village is a person who chose to care. Some of us lead. Some of us support. Some of us simply show up and stay consistent. What connects us is not a title. It’s the decision to be part of something that puts people first. There is always room to build with us.
Every role matters here because every interaction shapes the experience.
Support here is not just something we talk about. It is something that shows up in real moments with real people. Something that holds.
